Lost all electric power

I'll try to make this as clear as possible. I've installed an ms d distributor as stock went bad. I stabbed at tdc with no luck in adjustment. Then I stabbed at 10btdc no luck. Went To About 16 Tried Turning Car Over And It Kept Trying to Turn Over on Its Own EVen When I pulled KEYs . Had to Put in third to stall it out. Then pulled distributor and went Back to 10 Btdc. Went to Start car, copletely Lost all electric power. Everything. Put jump Pack On wouldnt give a voltage Reading. Took terminals off and battery gave proper voltage reading on jump pack. Put terminals back on, no reading. I keep Reading About fFusible Links. Which one should I Start with If thats even the Case? Thanks in advance. Also, Sorry Bout all THE CAps Dont knla wby my tablet does That haha

if the starter stayed engaged

why wouldn't you straight to the solenoid and make sure the contacts are not welded?

what was battery voltage before you put the jump pack on?

if the contacts welded, you need a new solenoid.

Ford calls it a relay because that's what it is. It's not a solenoid.
A relay is not a solenoid & a solenoid is not a relay, however both are electromagnetic devices.

An expert like you should know this.

you are right

up to '92 fox body uses the solenoid NO relay.
94+ use a relay to energize the SOLENOID on the starter

93 uses two solenoids.
