Secondary power ground?

So I was reading the other day and read that the ribbon ground goes from the back of the intake to the firewall. The previous owner on my
Car has mine going from the firewall to the brake booster. I need to know where it was originally hooked to the intake at please.

back of head or intake bolt

89 GT gr-40, KB2200(10psi), tweecer R/T,LC-1, 22gal cell, w/tailpipes.
