Dead Battery

I just bought a "project" 1993 Cobra. It runs and drives but it does have a few issues. One of which I discovered this morning. I went to start it and the battery is dead. The previous owner put a battery in it about 4 days ago( the day I got it). There are no interior lights left on or any thing like that. With the car running I get 13.5volts at the battery terminals so, I believe the alternator is charging. I am not really sure where or how to start troubleshooting this problem. Also, the previous owner had a new fuel pump put in about 3 weeks ago but, the car sat after that. It was not a daily driver. Any advice or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Mike

This video should help you figuring your battery drain issue out.

It involves using a multi-meter and a fully charged battery.

When you check the voltage at the battery with the car running does the voltage fluctuate on your meter or does it just drop? If it fluctuates then look for a draw when the car is turned off....pull fuses one at a time and that might give you a clue as to whats drawing the voltage.
