Question What battery sizes will fit 1994 / 1995s besides Group Size 58 ?

Hi all- battery for my 94 Cobra just died; a Bosch battery that lasted for 5 years.

Since Bosch seems to have the best warranty (8 years pro-rated) I'd like to buy another Bosch battery, but none of the Pep Boys around me have group size 58 in stock. Just wondering if another size will fit/work?

https://www.pepboys.com/product/deta...%2520%25205.0L

Thanks!

Darn, I don't think Bosch makes a group size 59.

Most batteries don't fail within 3 years, so I'm more interested in the pro-rated warranty period.

Also I believe I can only use the Bosch warranty on my current dead battery at Pep Boys since I bought it there (or is that against the federal Warranty Act legislation)?

Should be a 100 month warranty on the Motorcraft if it's the same as in Canada ... 3 yr free replacement, pro-rated after that. They are made by Johnson Controls, good quality batteries.

cheers

Yep same here. 3 year free replacement. 5 year Limited warranty.

Just changed one 2 days ago, battery failed 1 month short of 3 years. Battery was changed with no questions asked.

NAPA batteries are my next option here, but they only give 6 months warranty and usually fail before 3 years .
