Well if you plan to race it, you'll need to make it legal. You'll need a rear exit tube for the battery fumes if the battery is NOT solid, a cut kill switch from accessable from the rear and it must be properly wired. There are a couple of diagrams floating around in the 5.0/5.8 forum. Might want to do a search for battery or something along those lines. Good luck.
