1994 1995 GT foglights

Will aftermarket foglights work with the existing GT foglight system? Which aftermarket foglights look the best and work the best? I want a set that will sort of fit into the existing foglight holes and look stock. I have all of the existing harnesses hanging behind the bumper so all I need is a new set and some brackets to mount them.

thanks

There are some blue looking ones that you can usually find at Wal-mart or Advance Autoparts that are shaped about the same as stock, I can't remember the brand name. I'm thinking about ditching my stock assemblies and the brackets to save a little weight, I hear the brackets are fairly heavy and my fogs keep going out anyway.

I may get the blue ones from Wal-mart and hook them up without the factory brackets. The ones I'm talking about weigh almost nothing at all.

As for will they work with the stock wiring, apparently so. Several people around here have done it.

Aliright, that's good because the previous owner removed the foglights and I don't know why. I think they look pretty cool at night and are sometimes useful. Maybe she removed them for weight savings too? I don't want to spend $120 on a new kit for the foglights. I think I'll just by some at an auto store.

stock plastic foglights suck. They crack along the bottom and let moisture in, that's what keeps the bulbs burning out. If you get some aftermarket ones, make sure they're metal/glass

I agree with starrman, I replaced mine twice within a month, and then decided to take them out.. the darn things weighed about 10# apiece! If you want some, you are welcome to mine, they are sitting in my garage..
