best battery relocation kit for 1995

I am thinking of moving the battery into the trunk of my 95. Thanks, 66kix

after using a Summit kit in my notch years ago my advise to you is just buy a box and do the rest yourself. none of the kits seem to provide cable conductive enough for proper current and charging. use Welding cable as it contains more strands and is much more conductive. remember you will need a cutoff switch mounted outside the car to run at the track with a trunk mounted battery as well. I will be doing this on my car when it is closer to completion. good luck

I used 1/0 welding cable on mine and did it that way.The welding cable is plenty big enough and it's very tuff and flexible and heat resistant.W.W.W.

One thing to keep in mind about putting the battery in the trunk. If you have a passenger and get in a crash, that battery could become a missile which will fly throught the seats like they were made of warm butter.
Sturdy metal boxes bolted to the trunk floor are probably much better that plastic boxes held down with straps.
