In a FOX it's under the drivers seat, you might try looking there.

Look by the wires by the driver's side taillight. That *might* be the relay. There is a plug you can disconnect to shut off the fuel pump.

I pulled that same code on mine. Never could find the relay. The car kept dying at stops. I ended up fixing it by unplugging the battery and letting the computer reset. It never has had another problem and that was 10k miles ago.

The fuel pump relay is in the CCRM mounted in front of the Coolant Recovery bottle on SN-95s, this module controls low/High cooling fan, AC compressor and Fuel Pump.

Have a good one

Replace it

The hole unit has to be replaced. Are you sure it is bad? Find a wiring diagram and probe the wires for 5 seconds of voltage at key on.

Did anyone ever find out if the whole CCRM has to be replaced if the fuel pump relay goes bad? The genious at the local parts store seems to think that the "fuel pump relay" he gave me somehow goes into the CCRM but I see no way to open it without breaking it

I found it funny that the 1995 Ford Mustang shop manual by Ford says the FPR is in the Power Distribution Center when in fact it is in the CCRM

I don't think it's repairable. Someone could make some good money throwing together off the shelf relays to replace the CCRM with a repairable/upgradable unit.

I looked in the 95 shop manual and in the electrical schematics it shows it in the CCRM.Any vehicle from ford with a ccrm has all of these relays(EEC,Fuel Pump,Cooling fans)in there. This is a sealed unit and has to be replaced, but I guess if you were ingenious enough you could find a way inside it and replace the relay but it was not intented for you to do so.

I know it does show it in there, but you would have to know it was in the CCRM to think to look at that diagram. Look around at the other parts where it says stuff about the fuel pump relay and one part says it's in the power distribution center, I believe it says that about the FPR in the v6, but I'm pretty sure it never tells you a location for the v8 FPR, I just assumed it was the same.
