Starting complete rewire on 1966 Coupe...pointers?

Well, I just bit the bullet and ordered the #510125 American Autowire harness for my '66 coupe. They're going for $560 on eBay, if anyone else is interested.

My main question is, has anyone else done this install with this particular brand of harness? The main reason I went with Autowire over Painless was price, but the Autowire harness also has features more appropriate to my build (i.e. adaptability, extra accessories, etc)

If you have, what major advice/pointers would you give someone starting out? I used to be a Ford master tech in a past life, so I'm pretty good with wiring diagrams and a pair of crimpers.

Just in case anyone wonders what a real Autowire kit looks like...

This is what it looks like straight out of the box. It also came with a new ignition switch, headlight switch, dimmer switch, and new courtesy light housings. Pretty complete kit, for $200 less than Painless.
