High Beams, no Low Beams!!

ok when I turn on the headlights, the high beams come on. when I pull the lever to flash the high beams, nothing happens. when I push the lever towards the dash to turn the high beams on, the lights turn off. I changed the multifunction switch/light switch/dimmer switch and no change. any ideas??? thanks!

I wonder what model year Mustang we are dealing with????

Just wondering if you checked the fuses?

If this is a 99-04 MY, are aware there's a separate fuse for each low beam?

did you get this fixed? veryify voltage at the wiring harness on the drivers side strut tower. There is a round connector that houses the lighting wiring. Green is High beams, Red is Low, Black is the ground. Sounds like to me though that there is a possible wiring issue to the Multi Function switch. Maybe a short across wires or something causing the high beam to be one in the normal position and the High position to be non-functional. If flash to pass is not working then it would almost have to be wiring of some sort as that is a "seperate switch" as is see it.

Ok my bad for not updating this, but it is fixed. After trying multifunction switches, light switches and dimmer switches, I traced the entire harness out to the bulbs and it was ALL good. Turns out the previous owner put in the wrong headlight bulbs. After the correct ones where installed everything works fine. Waste of time for the wrong bulbs. Lesson: don't ever think the guy before you knows what he is doing! LOL thanks for the help.
