Replacing headlights on 91 LX
Owned since new my 91 LX started blowing the stock bulbs on the passenger side a year or so ago. Put a couple in before I noticed moisture inside. Both headlights replaced about 10 years ago with Eagle something when I busted my driver side. I drilled some "tiny" holes in the bottom of the one with water in it to let it drain. Did zip, blew a couple more bulbs, then lived with it one eye and avoided night driving.
What I didn't know is that the rubber around the top and sides is actually a seal for the lens, so I am about to order new headlights and new rubber seals from Late Model Restoration, they sell just the headlight for $35 each shipped and pairs of seals for $25 for the cheaper ones. Any suggestions for otherwise I am not ordering until late Sunday night.
