Red wire with green stripe....HELP

I found a very hot wire,It is coming from my ignition,when i trun the key to start the car it dont start,so i started to put the steering column apart to look at the wiring,The Red wire with green stripe is the one getting hot,The car will start from the solenoid and the wire inside the car will still be hot.



HELP!!!!!!!!!!!

With the key off its it hot yet? If it is its one of the constants that when you slide your switch powers the rest of the system. I beleive the yellow wires are also constants.

Ok so i tryed a few things 1 i got a new coil,red with lite green wire still getting hot,Ignition module is good had it tested.So now what it be?

Question

Think the Green w/Red wire also is the output wire from the Alternator Regulator. www.veryuseful.com

I dont come on here much but if it isnt a sticky it should be, I just rewired my whole car and something like that with these scotch locked cars is valuable.
