when you open up the computer you see a square looking chip right next you plug in your aftermarket chip!!!

does anyone know what the function is of this chip//

when testing my maf harness at the plug key on i get 12volts on red wire ground on black and the other 2 signal wires im getting less then 1 volt.

i am getting code 66 which is maf low voltage. i did a reference off my buddy's car and he saw above 10v at these two wires

any help would be great
