Mark VIII Fan would not fit

I just got my Mark VIII fan for my Turbo Mustang. Well, I guess I'm the guy out everyone installing this fan 100% of success installing this fan, mine would not fit! I did everything I could to get it to go in, tabs at the bottom of radiator trimmed and still will not ling up with the top tabs and hits the damn water pump, even pushing the radiator all the way to the front, no luck. Check the picture out.

I had to trim the fans shroud to decrease the installed depth and I had to turn it upside down to clear the WP pulley.

This one is from the guy that sells them here in Corral, trimmed ready to go for 5.0. So I can't trim anymore, it will hit the radiator.

move the rad and condenser forward.

I have the FRPP rad and MKVIII fan without issue. its right side up and has the stock overflow.

I move the radiator as much as I could. There is no more space, have the tranny cooler and the inter cooler up front, so no where to move it.

If that is the case, you def going to need the cfm of markVIII, I am sure with a little work you can move everything an inch or two forward.

I had to notch the lower rad support to gain extra room. Have you done that?

Done everything I can to get it in. The intercooler is as far it can go foward, notch the bottom and top and still hits the water pump. Car has never been wrecked so dont know what the heck is going on with this car. Oh well fan is going up for sale.

Sell it and go to JY and get a dual fan setup from late model Merc. cougar. The sporty little 2 door one.I bought a Mark fan an ran into same thing with my Novi 2000 setup. Was able to drop Cougar fan right in and made couple brackets to hold it in place I am running the Motorsport Alum rad. fits very well and moves a ton of air. Could even set it up to run run fan and kick second one on with right fan con troller if you wanted.
