Cable routing

How do you guys route your cables from a trunk mounted battery to the front? Do you go earth to the block then to a bus bar? And does the power go straight to the bus bar then to the starter?

Any help and pics would be good

I bolt the ground from the battery to the rear frame rail. And bolt the engine block to the front frame rail. Clean off all the paint before adding the bolts and then hit them with rubberized undercoating after installation to keep rust away.

The positive cable runs through the car under the carpet up to the starter solenoid on the fender.

I ran power, ground, alternate feed (one wire alternator) up through the car to firewall feed-through style junctions. This gave me a great direct ground source. I put the connections high enough that a passenger's feet won't kick them.
