Wiring my 5.4 4v

This is a nightmare. Over half the plugs don't match up to my harness(01 cobra harness) on my 2000 GT. One of the main plugs on the harness won't even plug in to the plug on the car because they're both female connections.

Beginning to wonder if there is a way to skip all the factory wiring headaches and use some form of aftermarket wiring. I could skip a lot of sensors and just monitor with gauges. I don't know if anyone has ever done anything like this but this wiring harness will never work in this car in the space I have.

Forgot to mention that this car will have to pass atlanta emissions testing.

Why not just use your gt harness and reverse the polarity on the cop wiring and extend whatever other connectors needed for the 5.4 sensor placement?
