Wire up wideband o2 plx-m300 to replace factory o2?

I've had this plx-m300 wideband for probably 6 years now and have had an extra bung installed and had the wideband wired up to the EGR for my tweecer. I will be replacing my h-pipe for an x-pipe and I thought about replacing a factory o2 with the wideband. It seems to me at one time I read online that you can use the wideband instead of an narrowband o2 and that you would route some wiring to the harness for the factor o2. Is this correct? Has anyone done this? It seemed like the article that I read claimed it was more accurate than using a narrowband. So has anyone done this? Thanks in advance

What is an emulator? I have the wideband o2 and the box that displays the info also the tweecer. I have heard in past that the wideband is more accurate. Maybe I am hearing conflicting information.

emulator takes the 0-5v input from the WB converts it to a 0-1v NB output that the eec can use.

Lab grade WB are more accurate, but the consumer level one that we use is not near the accuracy of the Lab grade.$$$$$

I do know that my wideband has a narrowband wire coming from it. But I am really not sure. I suppose I can just keep doing what I have been doing.

run both, by adding a bung.

when you have it running like you want, remove the WB, plug the bung.

I don't use a WB guage, I only use it for tuning purposes.
