3GUpgrade

Hi. Have a 91 5.0. Low voltage when idling. After I charge it itll last a week before it wont have enough to start. I have some add ons plus a underive pullies. Also plan on a stereo/amp. But nothing major. Is a 3G upgrade worthe while? AND would buying a billet bracket kit alleviate the clearance issues from the larger 3G alternator??

Same questions

I too am planning on upgrading my alternator but after searching YouTube, I'm more confused than ever. Some 3G units claim to be a 1 wire hook up and just have 1 wire going to the alt. while other units have multiple wire. I have a 91 M/T with AC. I don't know which alternator to buy.
