Help ID a switch please....

I have an 88 GT. Could someone please tell me what the plunger type switch is in the back of the door jamb? This is pushed in when the door is closed. Its just around from the striker. Its on both doors. It isnt the dome light switch thats in the front jamb by near the hinges. My bothers 90 model doesn't have these.

Thanks,
Wayne

Those switches are either for the dome light or for the door ajar chime. My old 89 had them and worked one of them. Just can't remember. From 90 out ford went with an integrated switch built into the door locking mechanism.
