HID problem...

So i just got an 89 gt that is pretty much awesome. Well, we were doing a good under-hood cleaning and I think that we messed up some portion of the aftermarket HID lighting system. I walked outside to lock up everything and found that one of the headlights was burning without the switch being on. I tried numerous times to flip the switch to get it to go off to no avail. So i had to pull the fuse to get the system to turn off. I found what I think to be a control module that could possibly be fried. Anyone know anything about these systems that could help me out? What happens when I plug the whole thing back in now is the OPPOSITE light from the original one burning lights up and there is a whining noise coming from somewhere. Below is the part that I pulled.

I'm not 100% sure what's but I think my friend had the same issue, can't remember off the top of my head what they did but I will repost after I ask.

Cheap kits doing what they do best, breaking.

Invest in a proper kit (with a projector PLEASE) and have no more headaches (and not giving other people headaches by blinding them too)
