Fox Speed Control Thread...All Help Needed

Been sitting here searching this site and many others all day....not much out there. Ive seen several questions from members asking why their Cruise/Speed Control isnt working. I am going to find as much info as I can and post it here and I hope all you guys will do the same. My horn works but my Cruise Control doesn't. I would like to see any and all wiring and connector diagrams related to this. I know where my problem started. About 15-20 years ago a friend "helped" me turn off the door chime that would ding no matter if a key was in the ignition or not. Whatever he unplugged stopped the dinging and the cruise. This was no biggie at the time because who needed cruise on a street racer!!! Now im old and would like my cruise back...lol. Can't find the connector or friend. Anyone that could post anything that will help us all would be appreciated.

Thanks,
Wayne

cruise amplifier and chimer are different and he prob unplugged both. or the contact rings under the steering wheel are worn.

the amplifier is by the clutch pedal.

Helm publications make the EVTM for these cars.

Haven't seen anything online.

He may have unplugged both. In the wiring diagram in my manual I did find a plug that had a common wire for the chime and speed control so who knows. I have some diagrams im going to post as soon as I can and get a thread going here that will hopefully help me and anyone else that needs it. Thanks for the reply. For all our sake tell us what EVTM stands for
