speedometer, radio, power door locks, odo and trip inop
Ok guys I was driving to work last night and suddenly the radio quits, I look around and notice the speedo, odo, trip and later notice the power locks are out. I found the fuse blown and replaced it. The new fuse blew while i installed it! The car was off and the keys were out. I was in a hurry and went ahead and broke the golden rule and tried a 20 amp fuse (orig 10 amp). It blew also, just as soon as I installed it. I could actually see them spark as they died.
My question is this, is there a known weak point in this circuit? Is there somewhere specific I should start looking? Has anybody else had this problem? Or am I going to just have to start separating the systems from the circuit and start testing them one by one the old fashioned way. (I hate the old fashioned way

1996 GT with full PI conversion, heads have mild port work. 1999 cobra pistons (fly cut) for about 11.7 to 1 compression. Comp 274xe cams. Cams degreed by Nick at MHS (cams were 4 degree's out of sync with each other from the factory) and installed with adjustable crank sprocket at 106 degrees.
