Circuit breaker okay instead of fuse?

I always ran a wafer style 150 amp fuse on my power line from the battery. I am re-wiring the car and intend to switch from this style to a stinger reset style 150 amp circuit breaker. Anyone see a reason why this wouldnt be fine?

Should be fine, I used one on my 65 for years.

You have to be careful with circuit breakers in an automotive application. Once a circuit breaker is tripped for the first time, it will never be as accurate again. It could take twice the current to trip it again, or it could only take half the current. There is no way to know. They can also weld themselves shut and melt during an overcurrent condition. I'd keep the fuse.
