Gear ?'s

Is there a justifiable difference between FMS and FRPP gear sets?

Do you have to get an aftermarket diff cover for 4.30's?

Negligable difference between red line and royal purple oils? No friction modifier needed correct?

And what installation kit should i get as i will be rebuilding it sometime in the future with a locker, axles, and all welded (ie Ratech's standard, complete, or deluxe)?

I think FMS just changed there name to FRPP. Just like SVO is now SVT.
Same gear as far as I know, but I have been known to be wrong on occasion.

Is the cheaper ones, the FMS ones.

I think the vendor is trying to get rid of the older gears first.

If you go with the FMS ones just have a look to see if there is much rust on them. If the oil is still on them and you see no signs of rust then I would purchase the cheaper ones.
