Stock Torque Boxes?

Who here is running slicks or ET Streets on a mild Mustang with no torque box mods? I have a 96 Cobra basically stock with 4.30 gears, SF connectors and Aftermarket Control arms. I want to try running 26x8.5x15 ET Streets but I am unsure If I have to weld up the torque boxes frst? I am hoping for a moderate 1.8 60' time or so.

Weld em up! The SF help LOTS but weld them to be safe. It's cheap insurance.
