any of you gain et going to dumps?

How much have you gained in et? if nothing else if provides more room for the slicks and reduces weight a tad...

I went to dumps about two years ago. If i remember correctly i gained around a tenth from it. Hey, I say do it! Car looks cleaner in the back IMO and yes you have more room for other things too!

i gained a tenth and almost 2 mph going from a flowmaster cat back to 2.5" dynomax super turbos dumped.

2004 competiton orange mach 1, 4.10 gear, pro 5.0
off raod X pipe, slowmasters. 4 sell

did anyone dyno before and after to see what kinda of numbers gained? i was kinda considering goin with dumps so i can fit a wider wheel and tire......if i can gain performance too, then its a no brainer!!!

Joe, I travel through there all the time to my parent's house, will have to hook up with you soon. My only concern with the dumps is exhaust fumes!!!

I have had mine dumped for a while now. Never had any problems with fumes inside the car. Put a couple of 45 degree turndowns, angled outward and you should be fine.

I cant wait to try my car with open exhaust or even just dumps on it!

1989 Saleen SSC #121

'85 stang, #2915 with me in it RTR, 12:1 '69 351W, full floating pins, windage tray, solid roller lifter .650 lift 280 dur. cam, true roller chain, MSD ingition, victor jr. intake, Victor jr. aluminum heads, Comp cams 1.6 Roller rockers, modified 750 holley double pump, BBK 1 3/4" chrome long tubes, Frank Lupo's ProFormance c4 with Large stall and a brake, 4.10's, homemade subs, drag shocks, 8 pt. cage, plastic racing seats, a spool and 31 spline axles.

New best off the footbrake, not bad for a street car.

mph....125.9
With stock suspension and full exhaust out the tailpipes!!

We've dyno'd my dad's 91GT with tail pipes and with dumps and there was NO difference on his car, we've also run it both ways at the track... it may be different on each car, but his put down 323RWHP NA and it did nothing to help him.
