2.07 on a 2.73 gear on 245/50/16 Potenza RE 730's. The clutch was so unhappy I couldn't find second, and blew a perfectly good run. Backed it up kinda with a 2.11 later that night.

Just ordered some Yoko ES100's... I guess we'll see how those do soon enough.

depending on the track conditions i'll leave anywhere between idle and 2800. as far as slipping the clutch....you have to look at it as if you were leaving a traffic light. you're trying to get moving as quickly as possible without blowing the tires off. basically, you'll ride the clutch slightly to bog the motor. once you get her rolling then you get on her. it takes practice(took me 3 yrs. and 7 clutches), but once you get it down......you can be a real sleeper! imagine the look on the guys face in the lane next to you when you drag his slick tired car through the 1/4 and beat him by 2-3 cars. especially if you 60' better than he does! i tell you, it's great! 5.0roy

Last time at the track (April 12th), I cut a 1.901 (ET in sig), on a set of Hankook Ventus HRII's, sized 275/40/17, on a 10.5" wide wheel...

This was with my (since removed) AOD/3800 stall, launching from 1500 rpm's...

I haven't yet returned with a five speed...

Here it is... I was wrong, it is a 1.83 60'. 4000 rpm launch, slipping the clutch. He was the only guy to 60' in the 1.8's on regular radials at WFC. On this pass, he missed 4th gear. His mods are Densecharger cold-air kit, Magnaflow cat-back, 3lb pulley. He turned a 12.69 @ 112 bonestock...
