are pro 5.0 gears any good?

I just bought a set of 3.55 Pro 5.0 gears to replace my 2.73s. I just figured gears were gears, but learned afterwards that it was pretty important to get a good brand.

I've done a search and they seem to be decent. Anyone with experience or first hand knowledge about them?

thanks

gears

I have never installed pro 50 gears but have installed a ton of FMS gears. FMS does not make pro gears, only street which is not the hot setup for dragracing ,but for some strange reason they dont break. I have had several customers run in the 8s with 3000lb cars that have bent their 8.8 housings like a banana but the gears were perfect. They may cost another $40 but I feel they are worth it and whats $40 in the overall picture.
