how my the combo sit at this point...
306 stock block that's decked, trued, torqued plated, and o-ringed
stock crank, stock rods with polished beams and arp bolts
J&E 8.5:1 pistons, (I will most likely put a girdle on it, not on it as of yet) fully ported Victor Jr's with arp head studs.
The cam I have right now is a TFS stage 2 with 1.7 rockers
42# inj with a pro-m 77 meter, an s-trim pulleyed at 12#'s right now (but a power pipe is on the way, so that should bump up a touch) I have a full aeromotive fuel sys on the car. pump, rails, reg and all -10, or -8 as a feed line, or -6 as a return.
This is backed by a tremec with a shatter shield and a center force dual friction clutch, alum d/s. the rear has an auburn 31 spline diff, FMS 31 spline axles and 3.73 gears. And there are 28-10.50 sportsman pro's on the back of it......Oh, and the exhaust is 1 3/4" hooker supercomps to 3" pipes dump with 2 chamber flows.
I think the cam choise is good, but who knows..
The intake I have right now is a slightly ported cobra with a 70 mm acufab t/b on it, But I think I want/need more.
Like maybe a 75mm? and a tfs "r" intake? or some of you guys think the holley one is the way to go?
