1st 8-Second Pass

Ran yesterday at the NMRA Gateway Rumble with the new 15:1 363. Had to work through a whole bunch of issues and only made two passes. 1st pass off the trailer 8.99 at 150.4, the next day went 8.97 at 151.1. Pissed off the starter in the video (apparently there are no across the line burnouts. Who knew?).

Very exciting two days. Set the shift light to go off at 8500. I am a bit RUSTY... shifts made at 9400, 9300, 8800, and 8500 LOL Crossing the line at 9,000 so I think the 5.14 gears with 28" tires is close. Time to tune suspension now.

Yea, a lot of tracks don't like burnouts over the startling line. I also hate short burnout areas. The track we raced at had a burnout area that was about 200ft long..
Love the song that engine sings in the vid!

Thank you. I run a crank trigger kit from Matt Bell at Redline Performance, MSD 7AL2, and MSD billet distributor (no TFI).

9seccobra, did your car use to be somewhat stock with like a 200-300HP hit of nitrous?

For everything that is worthwhile, there is a counterfeit.

Have you thought about switching to a radial? They are about a tenth or better compared to the slick.
