During the build of 1995 Cobra I've been keeping track of how much stuff weights as I take it off. Everything was weighted on a calibrated digital scale and I've rounded the weights to the nearest 0.1 pound. I'll add more as I go.

Front sway bar: 8.6lbs

Rear end weight/dogbone: 8.2lbs

Airbags(both): 11.5lbs (Drivers side: 2lbs, Passengers side: 9.5lbs)

Airbag crash sensors: 1.7lbs

17" cobra aluminum spare w/tire: 26.5lbs

Swapping to a manual seat track saved 8.6lbs

Square tube bracing behind rear wheels: 8.5lbs

Evap and charcoal canister: 3.7lbs

Cobra foglights and brackets: 2.22lbs (each)

Front bumper support w/Styrofoam: 17lbs

Trunk carpet and spare tire cover: 6.5lbs

Cobra oil cooler w/hoses: 4.8 lbs

EGR valve: 2lbs

EGR tube behind heads: 1.5lbs

Quadshock brackets: 7.1lbs

Rear deck carpeting and speaker grilles: 3.4lbs

Rear deck padded rear seat trim: 4lbs

Rear seat: 44lbs (Seat bottom 13.2lbs, Seat back w/frame 30.8lbs)

I'm just documenting what stuff weights when I am taking it out or working on it.

People say stuff is heavy or isn't heavy, but nobody ever knows the actual weights.

It’s a mostly strip car. This post is really just knowledge/data for anybody out there that might find it useful.
