Looking at adding a line lock to my 95 mustang.

The thought was to mount two solinoids (one in each front fendwell)
In the area where the hard line changes to the soft flex line.
Basically with the right adapters I would be able to simply bolt the solinoids right in. And they would replace the bracket in the fender that holds the hardline/softline connection.

Then for the electrical. I would use the exhisting fog light harnesses and simply activate the lock using my fog light switch on the center console.

What do people think? Would this work?

Why use two? Seems like reinventing the wheel for install and making it more expensive to boot. The switch idea is good.

Can a line lock even be used with ABS?

If so, I suspect it would go between the ABS control unit and the brakes.

That's why I'm thinking two solinoids.
One for each front wheel installed after the ABS unit

Makes more sense now.

Surely someone has done this in the 20 or so years since ABS showed up in Mustangs.

Pretty sure my 04 has abs and I tee off a single solenoid right off the proportioning block.

Other noteworthy items is that i’m running manual brake master cylinder. However, looking at some of these kits, I’m not seeing multiple solenoids either.

Garage
I put one at each wheel while I still had the ford proportioning valve on the car. Because the passenger side wheel would not hold . Have had 2 for over 10 years I bet
