spline engagement

Just finishing up a transmission swap, the rear suspension is relaxed most of the way due to how it's on the jack stands. Bolting the driveshaft up then measuring shows about 1/16" shy of having 3" of spline engagement in the yoke. Is there a minimum engagement depth?

For everything that is worthwhile, there is a counterfeit.

I’d re-check at ride height. i think 2-3” is sufficient.
