Opinion on converter

I do not know a while lot about converters, curious people's opinions. Looking for every last bit of ET out of this poor ole 306.

Motor:
306 (9.5:1
Pro comp 210
GT40 tubular, 75mm tb
276/286 .600/.605
A1000 fuel system 60lb injectors
P1 procharger 16ish psi with meth and 22 degrees
Car made [email protected] tires at 5500-5700rpm(don't remember exact but it was low rpm)
Car weighs 3000ish, 4.30 gears, 275 radial pros, C4 and converter flashes 5000 on the transbrake.
Runs 6.60'[email protected]@5700ish rpm at the finish. 60fts in the mid 1.40's

Power seems low to me with that much boost, but I dont know could be accurate.
Does the converter seem right or could tightening it up help out? Opinions? Seems to be slipping around 9% at the finish but just seems to flash way to high at the start. Way above where this combo should make its peak torque around 4000-4200?

What size is the converter and how heavy is the car?

9.5 inch converter and last night I just scaled the car for the first time and it was 3117lbs with me sitting in it ready to race. Pretty heavy for an 86 coupe, at least in my opinion. Not gutted or anything tho. Guess the supercharger setup and 6pt adds a lot more than I was thinking

That seems about right. At one point, I dyno'd 443 rwhp SAE and ran 6.7-6.8 @ 101-102 mph at 3,255lbs.

I called and talked to Andre at Edge Racing yesterday. Explained my entire combo and times and what not. I'm gonna send the converter back to him in a couple weeks. He gairantee that he can get me better 60ft and more mph. Said the converter is about 1000rpm to loose for my combo.it's his converter so if he says it isn't right and he can make me faster I'm gonna try it lol

Usually the converter needs set to flash right at or just above peak torque.
You are at the point where you would do better with a glide and the right converter.

With a three speed it isn't as critical for converter.
