trans brake help\ 60 ft

My trans brake is about 3k I have drag lites with 10x15 in the rear. The car has the following mods.
Gt40 intake, patriot freedom 185cc sct chip 2.02 intake valves and 1.6 exhaust valves upgraded springs on the heads hardend pustrods full rller rockers 1.6 ration comp cams nx282hr 306 forged trw pistons main girdle and windage tray moroso oil pad AOD trans with art car internals one piece input shaft lentech valve body/trans brake 8.8 rear 3.73 24lb injectos c&L maf 65mm bbk throttle body msd 6 plus big shot 175 shot.

So on my 60 ft I get a 2.0 every time. I have tried tire psi from 14 to 25 with the same results. The car does not spin at all on the line.
The car runs 13 flat at 106 like clock work on motor. What can I do to improve the 60 I feel like its just to low of a rpm. Is there anything I can do with a 2 step to get it to rev higher?

Thanks

No one answered this, but I would not expect the 60 to change very much no matter what pressure you run if you are not sp[inning the tires. Unless you run nearly flat, all changing pressure does is change the footprint on the ground.

You never gave the starting line RPM when on the trans brake. My guess would be your converter is too tight. Also, you might need more gear or less tire height. What RPM do you cross the finish line at in high gear? How tall are your tires?

Rpm on the starting line on the trans brake is 3K I tried a lower rpm and the 60 was worse
Tires are 275/60/15
I cant remember what rpm was crossing the line I want to say the upper 5k

If my converter is to tight what are my options? Pull the trans and change it out?
Thanks

It could be you have a badly mismatched combo that is not making all that much power. The cam is big, the intake small. The heads are mediocre.

is that 13.0 @ 106 on the 175 hit? Unless this setup is in a 4000lb car, you are either wayyyy down on power or having trans/converter issues.

While i agree the 185 patriots are not the best heads, Ive got flow sheets from a set i had flowed here locally. Not great for an aftermarket head, but enough to get you well out of the 13s on a 302 setup IMO

As for a converter reference, have a very similar HCI 302 combo in a full weight GT fox. With c4, sitting on the transbrake it goes up to 4900-5000....I can only footbrake to 2200

I agree with Tom R

That intake has GOT TO GO 1st new mod you make.
Its just way too small! Especially for what your doing.
Total suffocation.
Sell it fast . And buy a nice higher flowing edelbrock.

You say your car dont spin so tire pressure shouldnt be a concern.

Try a couple footbrake passes @ higher Rpm yet?

What kinda converter and trans you got?

Sell me your s/c or Turbo Notch

The 13 sec is on just motor.
All i know about the trans is AOD trans with art car internals one piece input shaft lentech valve body/trans. I want to say if i foot brake it goes up to like 2500. It rained here all day so I will try to confirm tomorrow

What does a decent intake cost?

Thanks

Ok how does this make any since. I changed my plugs and wires and pcv. Checked my timing and set it to 12. Now the trans brake will only go to 2500 rpm. How can it change by 500 rpms?
Thanks?

sounds like 300rpm to me...

your slow 60s are due to an incorrect converter for the combo on motor...

but the change in stall based on timing could be a power and trans fluid temp thing....
