Southside -pinion angle setting

I have southside upper and lower on my car. How is the pinion angle set if the uppers are not adjustable?

You have to rotate the rear and either drill and bolt the plates or weld them together. I don't remember what angle was targeted by using the original holes and bolts that the arms came with.

Thanks so much. im actually rebuilding my southsides with a umi rebuild kit- so im assuming i can reset pinion angle when i change the plates. good stuff. i was under the assumption that i needed adjustable uppers.
