attn sve drag wheel users ?

Do these wheels require 3 inch rear studs to run slicks ?


96gt,svo intake,svo heads,mhs blower cams strim(2.65)pulley, IW 10% crank pulley,AFM powerpipe,60's,full fuel system,
sct2600,bbk longtubes & h pipe,4.10'water methanol.
new numbers 602rwhp,[email protected] at 3590 lbs.

Hey bud!

Normally in most cases the standard lug and stud will work just fine, but it won't hurt to run them either way!


Depending on your set up, say for instance if you're running a 325 tire with any kind of wheel spacer, i would say for sure run a 3", but like I said, most cases the standard lug and stud will work!

The stud must protrude into the hex portion of the nut at least the diameter of the stud.

This means your 12mm studs must extend at least 12mm past the face of the rim.

It doesn't matter if you have slicks or not. It depends on what rims you use. Race rims usually have a thick center such as Weld Drag Lites. Stock studs won't extend far enough through the rim.

Is a wheel spacer even track legal? I wouldn't use one on the street!

The wheels are designed to work with the stock lugs unlike the draglites and other type drag wheels.i have 3 inch stubs now and with these wheels the studs are really long.
