Looking for front brakes... Help

Ok guys.. I am still 4 lug and still on 4cyl spindles.. The plan is to move to V8 spindles and 5 lug and then decide on a set of better and bigger front brakes. This car will on occasion be driven on the street, but not a daily driver. WHat do you recommend?

Thanx in advance

I had 4 lug at one time went with the 87 up brakes but have since upgraded to the 95 front spindles and rotors with the 98 PBR dual piston calipers rears are 95 gt rear brakes with cobra calipers ( did not have anything to trade in at parts store ) all rotors are slotted with Hawk pads and all 4 corners have braided brake lines .

When I did this last upgrade I also removed the brake line off the back firewall and routed them inside the driver fenderwell and forward under the radiator support and across and back to connect the right front and rear brake line . When the line comes off of the master cylinder it connects to my line lock and adjustable prop valve .
Here are some pics of my work all work was done by me .

I know i need the newer spindles, but What is the difference in the 94-95 and the 99-04 spindles.. I was looking at the Strange, or Aerospace brake kits, but not sure if anyone has any experience with them

You can read more here but the 94-95 push the wheels out 3.1 mm per side the 96-04 push the wheel out 8.1 mm so 5mm more than the 94-95 and some other differences . Read here and you will learn plenty .1979-93 Mustang: Swapping to the 1994-04 Spindles : Maximum Motorsports, the Latemodel Mustang Performance Suspension Leader!
I may have manual brakes but to me these brakes are all you will need in the lighter car like ours remember they where made for cars weighing 600+ lbs more than ours .

I did the swap to 94+ stuff and the tires are right on the edge of the fenders. A guy at the track has 5 lug and they were tucked in nicely, he got his parts from a ranger truck, wish i knew what years. If i do it again, i will do the ranger stuff or after market brakes.

Make sure you get your information from the internet gurus that haven't built ****, they did sleep at Holiday Inn last night, and we have a few of those gurus right here on this forum.
