Question how's got the fastest STICK car on the corral

please keep this to STREET cars

i know that biminiLX is in the 9.80s with his stick turbo setup
https://forums.corral.net/forums/show....php?t=1151935

and sounds like Ben Better is right there as well with his stick turbo car
https://forums.corral.net/forums/show....php?t=1154937

anyone gone faster?

Been 6.70's on a box stock T-5. 1.31 sixty foot. That was motor only. With a decent clutch, it would have ran some forties. Then again, it probably would have destroyed the T-5. James

I think Bruce went 6.002 @ 113-114 or so in Real Street, not sure on the 60' for that pass. I do know he has been 1.28s-1.29s...

6.30s @ 110 are probably passes in the 9.80s I would guess...

I had about 70 or so passes on that tranny. The synchros eventually got chewed up. Usually sixtied in the mid 1.30's. James

Car was driven to the track, tires changed to slicks and yeah, I suprised a few people. Especially when they couldn't find a nitrous bottle. James

Thanks much appreciated. Also yes the nitrous is on at all times. There's no window switch or anything like that.

Towards the middle about 2:05 mins. My 9 second passes. Had to be easy on the launch with the IRS 1.46 60ft. also 4th gear was fighting me. The funny part about watching the car from behind is how soft I had the rear shocks set the car would be in car then the rear would dip on changes.

im sure my car will dip into the 5's @ 12x mph when i get a twin disk in it

Im frustrated that our mustangs cant keep up with the supra, viper ect 6-speed cars im trying to get somewhat close but those damn cars are going sub 5.7s in the 1/8th mile and that is really hauling the mail in a 5,6-speed car

So far I've run 6.4 at 108 letting out with stock TKO. Going for 6.1's with better nitrous tune

8.0 @ 88 on motor, old 306
7.0 @ 100 on new engine combo
6.4 @ 108 letting out twice on bottle.
11.2 @ 126 in 1/4 on motor

It might not be the quickest.

It might be the fastest.

I will bet that it is the heaviest...at just over 3900lbs!!!!

The forum will not let me post the link, so you'll have to go to streetfire or youtube and search for "Karl's East Coast Speed Shelby".

If that is too much, I'll just tell you, 9.75 at 147.

That was with the stock engine, tranny and clutch!!!

349 SBF carb/N2O 8.56 @163

Special thanks to- Karl's East Coast Speed-

ok so i have some gripe. i am subscribed to this post as i should approach the league of you guys in the next couple of months after getting some seat time in my car. i haven't raced since pinks all out gainesville but have a new motor/trans combo and it will take some practice to get it right. i mean i went over 1/2 second faster with the same setup just from driving experience.

anyways, can a moderator PLEASE CHANGE THE TITLE TO THE CORRECT WORDAGE!!!

WHO's got the fastest STICK car on the corral

it is very annoying, but a simple fix

thanks!!!!
