trac loc clutch pack

yup I did a search.is rearranging the clutch packs still the way to go(still good for everyday use) or should i stick with stock layout?

Rearrange them. I rebuilt my stock one a few years back adding the extra clutch on each side. I had a hard time getting the S spring back in the middle of the t-loc so I heated it up a tad to make it fit.

My first trip leaving the driveway it was chirping the tires like it had a spool in it. It loosened up alittle but is still holding very well.

just finished installing the rearranged clutch packs.took a few tries to get the spider gears in .not much fun with one person .these seem pretty tight in there but i still turned them in with a few hard steady turns of the axle.with the case on the bench will it be tough to turn the gears (if at all)or should it still be fairly easy??i used the same size shim that came out.the next one down was 5 thou thinner.from what i've read this will behave like a spool for a short while as it loosens up.
