A small video!

Trying out the new trans and clutch, but have ran into a fuel problem. Soon as I hit 3dr it falls on it's face and stumbles. I think the pump is to small or it just cant push it enough fuel volume. I guess the car uses it faster than the pump can pump it. It feels good till I hit 3rd then it stumbles! Time for a aeromotive 1000.

Have you ever had this to the track? If so what did it run? How do you like your stoker? Any problems with how it runs besides the fuel problem? What kit is it? Sounds very nice.

Thanks, Len

Not yet but I'm getting ready. Just now I have to fix my fuel problem. I love it so far. It burns no oil and runs very strong. I am very happy with it so far. It's a Eagle forged kit with 6.25 rod and probe dished pistons.

any more vids ?

A guy came over and started talking to me about the car. He asked what it ran so I told him 8.80's. He said, "No, I meant in the 1/4 mile."

I'm still running the same pump. My fuel filter had some junk in it. Took it out and cleaned it and runs perfect now. Still need a A1000 though because i'm fixing to put a kit on it.
Here are some vids

When I got the pump fixed.

I would be happy with 6.7s. I'm gonna put the 373s back in it later and spray it 150 and hope for some low 6s. Just wish the snow would melt!

Awesome videos! What are you running for a trans?

My car was running 6.78's at 106 with 1.52 60fts but with a tire change I ran [email protected] and 1.42 60fts. I would think that is where you would be once you hook.

I am also running a stick. TK0 600 pro shifted.

Those are great times man. What tires were you using when you ran those times and what type of tires do you switch to? I have a faceplated tko 600. Never been on a dyno. I'm guessing around 475rwhp. Combo is 10.5 410W, afr 205s, super vic, crane hydraulic roller, aed 850, 373s with 28'' drag radials.

Thanks! I was running a 26 x 10 x 15e.t. Drag and switched to a 26 x 10 x 15 S(stiff sidewall)

The car actually 1.37 60fted with them but stumbled into second...

Your car sounds really nice too! What are you running for exhaust?

You mean you picked up that much by just going to the stiff sidewall version? Thats incredible. I am really considering getting the 28-10.5 stiff wall slicks for mine.
Exhaust is nothing fancy. BBk 1-3/4 longtubes with the collector cut open to a true 3'' with 3'' X-pipe and 3.5'' bullets.

I have the "Stiff" sidewall 28x10.5's also on a 10" rim. I recommend you get the "S" sidewalls.

This is with the automatic at 12 psig in the tires.
