short video of my 87gt at the track

stock 89 bottom end,lunati 533-545 cam,afr165 heads,1.6 rockers,edelbrock performer rpm intake,70mm t/b,76mm maf,24lb inj, 5 speed,4.10 gears with 28x9 et drags

this was a what will it run post at first and now i finally took it to the track since its [email protected] so far

Thats impossible to estimate since you didnt post what car it is, how much does it weigh, what suspension setup it has. Lots of variables that will play into factor. Based off not knowing much I'll say mid 12's.

good point lol 87 gt mustang with southside bars on rear and thats it, weighs i would guess 3200?, fiberglass hood, and gone on a diet soon and upr k member

whats people doing to get the 1.5 60ft times? my old 88 stang ran [email protected] never could get a good 60. 1.70's all the time no matter how i left. all stock susp though

It's not so much the rear suspension parts it's the way you have them set up. Converter plays a big part of that.

it was a 5 speed also and i tried from 2k launch all the way to 5500 launch. my stock 87gt now gets 1.78 60's and the susp is worn out bad. can bounce the back like a basket ball lol

how much nitrous will the stock bottom end hold? ive already did 150hp on stock bottom end with no proplems but i was thinking 200 but don't know about the 5/16 rod bolts

3 runs so far last run i was on the brakes because car agianst me ran in my lane and hit the wall in front of me

all passes were 1.70-1.71 60ft leaving at 5k and then 4800

you'll definitely be able to whittle down the ET a pretty good amount, but you probably already knew that.

its probably making a shade under 300rwhp.

i figured right at 300 rwh i think it still has 12.20's in it with a good 60'. i took about 200lb out of it this winter and starting to move the battery to the trunk. i have seen 11.90's before at 111mph but cars are lighter and alot better 60ft times. the car already runs better then i thought it would so im not disgusted at all just want more now lol
