AODE valve body

Im looking into going to a trans-brake valve body. Right now im running the stock valve body and the car shifts ok. I want to get this car off the line and think the trans brake is the way to go. I still want to retain automatic shifting. Dont want to go to a full manual valve body.

What valve body would you guys recommend? I see the lentech is like $700.

Also, how much will going to the trans brake help me out? Right now my best 60' is a 1.59 and thats footbraking to around 2000 RPMs. Converter is a 4000 stall from Ultimate Converter.

Billy,

do some reading in this forum.

I would talk to Dan aka SilverFox & Alan aka Dirty Dog for their opinions on 4R70w valvebodies/transbrakes. I don't know if anyone has solved the delayed brake release on the 4R VB's.
