Talking C Clip elim install

Is anyine interested in a c clip elim install? Before i ordered my parts this wasa somthing that i had searched a bit and could not find too much information on. So here goes
Take the drum off
remove the 4 center nuts there are bolt heads on the back

Clean everything up, have to remove the wheel bearing and the axle seal next is the part that had me really nervous CUTTING i used a air powered cut off wheel and left some then sanded it down with a 5inch orbital sander

You need to edit and put Img codes insteed of links

When I did mine you are supposed to leave a about 1/4" of tube sticking out. It must be square and true when finished. This holds the c-clip elem. in place and helps to seal it all up. Are your instructions different?

yea the darn scanner will not scan the page i was trying to post it up but will end up taking a pic and see how that turns out. the ones i got told me to cut off everything up to the bump (Strang calls it a backing plate register). i will try to get the scanner working and will be posting more pics and be using img code for those people who don't wanna click on a link

I can't find the instructions for the mosers. Looks like the Strange setup is a little different. It looks like you got it right. Just enough for the brake backing plate to mount on and thats it.
