how fast with 3.08's

I guess this would be for people who run 3.08 gears (probably not much). How fast have you run with your 3.08's in the quarter mile?

My car has 3.08's with a tko and recently just put down over 500rwhp. How fast do you guys think it will go in th 1/4?

Also running 275/40/17 nitto's. How much air pres should I run?

Thanks for any input!

Prob run like a low 12 to high 11 @ 120 MPH or so. Gonna be spinning those tires pretty bad.

15-18 psi? never ran street tires at the track so dont know what people usually run them at

Well it depends on how hard your gonna try to launch on them. Auto w/o trans brake should hook pretty good depending on stall. 5- speed might be a little harder to leave on.

Yup. Just try to do it fast as I can. Tried powershifting before and didn't help any and way too easy to break something if you make a mistake.

I went [email protected] my first pass on 3.08 gears with a 1.79 short time. I hope to put it in the 6's next trip.

Your track lets you run 10's in a vert with no cage or helmet?
Awesome run BTW.
