Smile New Track Times, Thanx to my buddy from Baton Rouge!!!!

So last night we went back out to the track. After recently installing eibach drag spring kit, and AFM powerpipe. Fought the car all night to 13.0's and 13.2's. Consistently though.

Then a good buddy Omar from Baton Rouge came over and said go get a bag of ice and ice the blower and intake for 30 minutes. Feeling kinda hazy on the subject I did it and boy am I f'ing glad I did! First pass after icing resulted in:

r/t .428
60 1.892
330 5.434
1/8 8.315
mph 86.16
1000 10.715
1/4 12.780
mph 111.37

FINALLY!!!! IN THE 12'S!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! YES!!!

Second pass no icing(back to back)
r/t .434
60' 1.866
330 5.320
1/8 8.154
mph 86.61
1000 10.588
1/4 12.632
mph 110.47

I am super ecstatic. I cant wait to go back next month and run the car again! Launches were at 2200rpm. I believe with a MT tire instead of these trash nittos I can launch it higher and get a better 60'!

Was thinking of MT ET Streets tube type since its a DOT radial and not a full slick. What do you think Omar?

Will be at track August 2 and 16, hope to see you there buddy!

Thumbs up

ET streets are great! This is what I run at the track. 26X10.5X16 Best 60' is 1.69 so far, with only a 4500rpm launch. I run them @ 14psi. Hoping for the magic 11.999 this Friday. All I need is a good long cooldown and about a 1.65 short time. Looking at your 60' and mph, your going to need about a 1.60 short time to hit 12.0. Whats the weight with you in it?
