best mustang drag racing show??

I am planning a trip anywhere in the us for the autumn, a big mustang drag event, what do you recommend? NMRA world finals at bowling green, FFW in Texas...
Any Ideas?

I have been to all the NMRA races and Bowling Green is a great place to watch.

FFW is nothing other that a all ford bracket race. it sucks

I've never been to the one at bowling green but I do go to the one held at Atco NJ, and it's a great time.

Yes the super bowl that is 3-4 weeks away is by far the best race I have been to. 11 second to 6 seconds they have it covered. All makes are repersented. plus where else can you see 20 or so NA 8 second cars that stand on the rear tires.

I am going to Atco the first of August. After that Fla is the only race I have not been to.

My wife loves going to BG we always hit Mamouth Cave on the way home.

What are you kidding me? Nobody wants to see an N/A car, most walk by and go right to the blower/turbo cars.

The people that really know their stuff can appriciate the N/A cars. I know I would much rather see an 8 sec N/A car than an 8 sec turbo or supercharger car.

Turbos an SC's have that cool factor but there is just somthing about doing it on muscle.

Back on subject. I would love to go to that Bowling Green event if it is as good as you guys say it is. The WFC events use to be really good (the best I had been to) then they changed to that WSC and I heard that sucked really bad.

LOL NA guys like to make their life difficult and don't get as much apperciation. But the true NA fans are hard core. They buy t shirts, want pictures and "everytime I see this car in the mag it is on the bumper"
At the Mi race Charile had 3-4 people come up that were like that. It is very cool

Ditto.

You can wander up into the stands any time you want and it seems like there's heads up racing going on.

Last year they didn't even have bracket racing. It was frigging unbelievably awesome.

I prefer my cars NA also.

the "superbowl" is very cool, but for some reason, BG is always the most fun for me

I'm not sure if you dead set on a ford drag event but NHRA events are awesome. I always enjoy watching funny car and top fuel go 4 seconds in the quater mile. Then again I've never been to a NMRA event. Hopefully I'll make it to one this year.
