Can I replace my Airbag Steering Wheel?

Goin drag only and would like to replace my steering wheel in my 1993 GT. Does someone make an adapter for this? If so, any part numbers?

Thanks

Go find a steering column from an 87-89, preferebly one with tilt. Then swap it out (around an hour with an extra set of hands) and then you can select any steering wheel you want. I have done this on two cars and had good luck.

I know this is an old thread, i did a search and this is the only one that popped up. I have 90 airbag column, any idea where I could find an adapter to put different wheel on my track only car? Thanks.

Grant also makes an adapter (have one in my car) but it was there when I got it. No part number. I recently went from a non tilt 90+ column with a 14 inch round steering wheel to a tilt column with 13 inch wheel and flat bottom (MORE LEG ROOM) and its MUCH nicer, and I like the turn feel with the smaller wheel to.

They say what goes up must come down but I ain't reached my cruising altitude.
Take a look at what I did but can you imagine what I'm about to do.
