pro star wheels

what are you guys torqueing your pro star wheels to? i torqued mine to 100ft lbs and a few of the washers now have cracks in them. So what do you torque yours to?

Same problem here. I went to 75 ft lbs and no problems.

You might have cracked the chrome finish on the washers, what brand are they?

I hit mine at about 75-80 after I put them on with the impact.

I torque my centerline to 85 ft lbs

Same thing happened to me when I used the weld washers at 100 foot pounds. I had a spare set of washers (may have been Centerlines) that are all steel. I think the welds may me some form of cast washer. I'm glad I noticed the failure before making a pass on the bad washers. The weld washers actually broke into a few pieces when I removed them.

weld lug nut are gorilla lugs, they are cast. Were as centerlines are made by McGard. McGard shank lug nuts are hardened,along with the washers.

took off the wheels, 3 broken ones and 2 others cracked.
