Wheel & Tire fitment ?

Will a 15x10 6.5 backspacing with a 275/60/15 tire fit under a 87 gt?

Quad shocks removed, have not rolled inner fender lips, but have done massaging in past.

Thanks

you'll have to massage the inner fender well with a hammer & roll fender lips.....................15x10 w/5.5 backspace or a 15x9 are a better fit.

88 notch...10.38 @ 130.17, 2001 ranger edge.......89 stock lx 13.51 @ 102...........I need a hooptie.......

Dont do the 15x10 with a 5.5" backspacing unless you have a mullet because it will look like dew dew in my opinion!

You want 6.5 BS for sure. You will have to do something with the lip (trim or roll) and do some fairly major hammering inside the wheel well. You will probably have to do some minor trimming on the Ground effects as well.

I just put a 275/60 on my 15x10's and I had to do a lot of banging but didn't have to roll the inner fender. I have absolutely no rubbing at all. The rear of my car isn't lowered at all.

Heres a couple of pictures with the tire installed. They aren't the best but you can see it fits.

6.5 here, with NO lip rolling or cutting.
